Images taken over a 7 day road trip around Iceland. 

New work made for ‘from which we rise’, an intergenerational group exhibition of works by artists who are exploring the historical connotations of storytelling, legacy, and cultural survival that are inherent in textile.  

I created a knotted and braided tapestry using in reaction to crocheted piece that was made decades ago by 曾妙娟 Tsang Miu Guen, my 'Nee Poh', who looked after my mother when she was a child growing up in Hong Kong.

'Repair' work done on a 100 year old plaster wall at residency at Elsewhere, Greensboro, NC.

Large hole in wall was patched over a period of 4 weeks only using the materials found in the building: buttons, thread, yarn, fabric, lace, zippers.
